Can somebody please let me know what is the average cost of living(it includes Accomodation+Traveling and Fooding) in Bahrain. If somebody can mention it in terms of BHD(Bahrain Dinars) that will be great help.

Sounds good but depends on yr experience. We pay our it manager 750 and ops manager 950.

I was offered total salary of BHD 1500 (Basic salary + Accomodation + 150) , Car provided, for a managerial position in a Contracting Company in Bahrain. Is this good enough?

yah James.. situation seems getting better today.. military soldiers and equipments for the army is drawing out from main streets of Manama city ( Capital of Bahrain ), if things go all right.. it might be getting stable.. but still shaky.. i hope in coming days show quite and everything goes to normal... :)

I am worried that, I have already resigned to take up job in Bahrain and planning
last of Feb 2011. What you said is absolutely right but will it be OK to join after some time, these things I have not discussed with my employer in Bahrain.
Main worry is due to present Unrest, my job offer still hold and I can join later...some one pl. put light on this issue....critical situation in Bahrain..

Bahrain was a state.. now is small kingdom!! consist of few islands 15-20, main is Manama, i'm not Bahrainy, i'm Saudy, living in Dammam city.. closest city on the boarder 30-45 min crossing KF causeway to Manama, i use to spend most of my weekends in Bahrain.
The cost of living in Bahrain is normal.. of course depends on your interest.. as for example.. you can find good furnished ap 2br 1br 1sr BHD1200-1500 /y, food accomodation is normal prices.. drinks are also not expensive.
That is what comes in my mind and most concerned to the newly arrival to Bahrain, any particular item you would like to have information about.. you are welcome to ask.... :)
