In conjunction with Tulsa Arts District’s First Friday Art Crawl, Hues for HOPE will include original art created by local Oklahoma artists and families impacted by peroxisomal disorders. The Global Foundation for Peroxisomal Disorders (GFPD) is an international nonprofit headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The GFPD was founded in Tulsa in 2010 by local mom and native Tulsan Melissa Bryce Gamble after her daughter Ginny Gamble was diagnosed with a peroxisomal disorder. The Bryce family has deep roots in the Tulsa community. Melissa attended Bishop Kelley High School and graduated from the University of Tulsa before teaching in Union Public Schools. Her daughter, Ginny, attended school at the Little Light House and Carnegie Elementary before she passed away at only six and a half years old.

Hues for HOPE, our signature fundraising event, was founded in 2017 by Melissa's dear friend and Tulsa native Jen Kerckhoff and her husband, Steve, to raise awareness of the GFPD and funds to support the incredible work being done globally by this local organization. Please join us in bringing awareness of peroxisomal disorders and other rare diseases to our community and precious hope to the children and families impacted by the disease.
