The Pathways Program is seeking volunteers to join our team of advocates to provide crisis counseling, resource referral, and supportive advocacy for survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual violence, stalking and human trafficking. Pathways Program offers crisis counseling, safe shelter, weekly support groups, children services as well as legal and personal advocacy to the partipcants in our program. After applying, volunteer advocates attend an informative and skill-building 24-hour live training followed by additional recorded trainings that volunteers can watch on their own time or while shadowing in our facility. Advocate Training will prepare volunteers to take shifts at the shelter, advocate for survivors at our walk-in services, and/or answer the 24-hour crisis line. Please contact the Volunteer Coordinator, Alena, for more information about the next training in May.
