Sweat, written by Lynn Nottage (Rated R for Language) won the 2017 Pulitzer Prize and is set in Reading Pennsylvania; pendulating between the years 2000 and 2008, Sweat explores the "de-industrial revolution" of steel mill towns and the ever changing economic landscape for working class folks in America. The ensemble welcomes seasoned actors Tracy Willet (Best known for her film work in Animosity and Snow) and Ronnie Hudson II (Winner of the 2021 Manitou Film Festival Best Actor Award) to star alongside student and community actors. Directed by Julie K. Peters, Stage Managed by Jami Evans. Performances Monday May 23, Tuesday May 24, Wednesday May 25, Tuesday May 31, Wednesday June 1, and Thursday June 2.
