How long does it take to get a basic knowledge of the Russian language? Is it very hard to learn (especially the writing)?

Do not have a reason to argue..

Do not have a reason and possibility to argue, unfortunately my English not so good yet )) But what I try to tell you, is that my own experience in learning English show me that even if you know everything about Present Perfect Tense it doesn't mean that you will use it in conversation. When I studied grammar I was not able to speak, then I changed system and gained result in 6 months. Yes I still do a LOT of mistakes , but I can hold conversation with native english, and that is more important for me. Now I'm going to study Russian, just for fun, but I can't find resemble system
Of course Children do...

Yes Of course, they do... Learning a language is a way to improve communication between people.
Children don't learn grammar the way we do before speaking native tongues, because the process is natural. It's a dialect between children and their relatives right from birth. They start with identification of sound, and so the child goes with the process within 3-5 years period and can even take up to 7-8 years. That’s why you see them learn languages in primary schools too.
You may not observe it but the process is continuous while the child grows.
For adults or foreigners, you have to make it academically to get better results within a short timeThis is not only pertaining to Russian; it is applicable to all languages.grammar
