Great Scottish Walk and Run Festival, 5k and 10k Run, 10k and 20k Walk, Toddle

SATURDAY 25th and SUNDAY 26th June – Venue: Holyrood Park - This annual event goes from strength to strength with activities for all ages.

ENTERTAINMENT - Under cover is the stage and entertainment area. Live music featuring live bands, choirs and groups who will perform throughout Saturday and Sunday.

ARMED FORCES DAY Celebrations
Vintage vehicles, military museum, displays.

ALBERT BARTLETT 'GREAT SCOTTISH TATTIE RUN'
A range of fun runs for all ages!

FITNESS and WELLBEING MARQUEE
Health checks, nutrition advice, sports and fitness
support, fitness class tasters, challenges with
prizes.

AFTERNOON TEA and SWING BAND
Pre-book tea with Glenn Miller sounds.

STORYTELLING and KIDS MARQUEE
Mrs. Mash stories and fun activities.

MUSIC and DANCE STAGE
DJ and Master of ceremonies plus local groups.

CHARITY and CRAFT STALLS AREA
Various stalls selling a variety of goods.

INFLATABLE ASSAULT COURSE
60 metres in length for kids and adults.

VARIOUS FUN STALLS
Hoopla, coconut shy, plus much more.

GREAT SCOTTISH SUMMER RUN 5K or 10K (9.30am)
Improve your PB by enjoying these scenic runs through Holyrood Park with chip timing, prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places for fastest male or female and a fabulous unique medal.

5K SCOTIA OPEN ROAD CHAMPIONSHIPS (10.45am) A judged walking race held under the strict rules of UKA and Scottish Athletics.
