visa and work permit

how long will it takes to renew the permit of my employer in the ministry of labor?badly needed some accurate info,im planning to go for a vacation in the philippines this december but unfortunately the agency told me that the permit of my my employer needs to be renewed which might cause the delay of my vacation ,..tell me what to do,..

  cant be renewed untill the ned of january,

  they are very strict abt these things in israel and not very helpfull either ,no expcetions made for thir foreign workers, rigid
  its ok
  i am going there for Christmas instead

  This is an additional problem. I see. I hope she started the process already. It might help to call the interior office after a week and to ask for the status and to tell them that is urgent.

  the requirement for a tourist visa in the schengen countries is
  min 3 mnth valid return visa to be presented,

  Hi,
  May be you have found out more in the meanwhile.
  Here is my experience:
  I dont see why your girlfriend can not come over Xmas to you if her visa runs up to end of January. How did you want her to stay?
  The issue is not so much leaving the country but coming back. She has to be back before the visa expires to prevent problems at the entry.
  The visa renewal can be done within two weeks if you are lucky and push a little.

  it will take a month to process at least,from start t finish,
  my own gf (philipina) is also in Israel
  we wanted her to come over to holland for Xmass <
  Unfortunately her work permit visa is only valid untill 31 st jan 2011 needs to be renewed first,
  is it your work visa,untill what time is it valid??
