Sorrento Living

Hello,
I'm from Ireland and am living in the area of Sorrento. (Typical girl meets boy story and girl moves country thing).

Anyway, I've been trying to locate a significant expat society here. I'd especially like to meet some other women to befriend. I'm so far stuck with my potentially future mother in law and the rest of my boyfriend's family....and while they're are nice and everything I need some English speaking freinds!!

I think it could be a nice idea also to set up some kind of women's expat society here....there does seem to be a few of us.

    Hi - an earlier time would be better for me - say 18.00? If everyone else prefers 20.00 I'll see what i can do.

    I think trying to get a group of expats together would be fantastic. Perhaps we could set a date two weeks from now where we try and get as many expat friends as possilble to meet....

    I suggest:
    Saturday the 27th of October.
    Sorrento
    How about the sorrento palace hotel bar? It's big enough to accomodate a lot of people but even if we turn out to be a small group it's still somewhere comfortable where people could talk without having to shout over loud music or lots of people.

    let me know when would be a good time to meet. Would love to get together for coffee. I recently met an English lady in Sorrento who has other English friends so may be potential for a monthly group.
