South Swindon Parish Council are thrilled to announce the return of Theatre At The Bowl in the summer of 2022. Featuring classics such as As You Like It and A Midsummer Night's Dream, as well as The Importance Of Being Earnest and Jane Eyre, alongside everyone's family favourite, The Wind In The Willows, there is something for everyone to enjoy at the Town Gardens Bowl this year!

As You Like It - Sunday 19 June 2022 - 6.30pm
The Lord Chamberlain's Men - with a history stretching back to William Shakespeare himself - invite you to join them this summer for the sparkling comedy, As You Like It. One of the UK's finest touring theatre companies present this great play as Shakespeare first saw it performed - in the open air, by an all male cast and with Elizabethan costumes, music and dance.

Bouncers - Friday 1 July 2022 - 7.30pm
Full of sharp one-liners, 80s classics and a host of extraordinary characters, all played by just four amazing actors, Bouncers is John Godber's tour de force. Hysterically funny with a touch of pathos and a whole load of nostalgia, this comic drama takes an irreverent look at the ups and downs of urban nightlife through the eyes of its eponymous 'heroes.'

The Importance Of Being Earnest - Saturday 30 July 2022 - 7.30pm
Slapstick Picnic would like to cordially invite you to its summer tea party, where marvellous feats of performance and culinary capers await. Over tea and cucumber sandwiches, we ask that you prepare to witness the impossible – the entirety of Oscar Wilde's classic play of manners, affairs and handbags being performed by just two rather dashing entertainers.
