Music At The Bowl

South Swindon Parish Council are thrilled to announce the launch of Music At The Bowl in the summer of 2022. With such a variety of music on offer, from A Night At The Opera, to Voodoo Room, through to 21st Century ABBA, there's something for everyone coming up this year!

A Night At The Opera - Saturday 25 June 2022 - 7pm
Opera Sulis, a vocal ensemble of professionally-trained singers from Bath, present a selection of opera classics and songs from the shows at the iconic Town Gardens Bowl this summer.

Voodoo Room - Saturday 23 July 2022 - 7.30pm
Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton & Cream: paying tribute to these legends of rock are Voodoo Room.

A stunning power trio featuring some of the UK's finest musicians who perform an incredible show in the true spirit of these legendary superstars. No wigs, no gimmicks – simply great music played by great musicians! Members of Voodoo Room have recorded and toured with Stevie Winwood, Massive Attack, Arthur Brown, Fish, Thunder and many other high profile artists.

Featuring all the classics, such as, Hey Joe, Sunshine Of Your Love, Purple Haze, and Layla and with standing ovations the norm, the word on the street is Voodoo Room are not to be missed!

‘Stunning!' Time Out

21st Century ABBA - Monday 29 August 2022 - 7.30pm
Following on from last year's sell out shows, this is an evening of hit after hit with songs you know and love from Waterloo, Mamma Mia, Take a Chance on Me, Super Trouper to many, many more! 21st Century ABBA faithfully recreates all the greatest hits of one of the world's most famous group combining stunning vocals, live musicians, and glittering costumes.

Come along with family and friends, picnic in some of the UK and Ireland's most beautiful gardens and surroundings and enjoy a wonderful performance of ABBA's greatest hits! What could be more fun in the summer sun!
