King's Men To Sing In Bibury

We are delighted to welcome The King's Men to St Mary's Church, Bibury on Friday 14th July as part of their tour of the South of England (from Thurs 13th – Sat 22nd July). Formed of the Choral Scholars of the Choir of King's College, Cambridge, they will present an evening concert consisting of music from Byrd to Bublé. The first half showcases Renaissance polyphony akin to what they sing in Chapel, before drifting into light madrigals, folk songs, and traditional tunes. Moving chronologically, the second half begins with blues and jazz numbers, closing with popular music arrangements. Each half also incorporates an organ interlude, played by one of their members.
The concert will start at 7.00pm and finish at 8.30pm - there will be an interval and refreshments. Tickets are £12.50 available on the door.
