Sloths Standards Band (Live) - Band on stage around 9pm, performing 2 Live Sets

For the month of July, Grass Roots introduces Sloths Standards Band - a newly-formed, London-based quartet that re-interprets jazz standards with a fresh and modern twist. A partial list of their musical influences includes Oscar Peterson, Louis Armstrong, Chick Corea Elektric Band and Weather Report. Their continuously evolving repertoire also boasts a handful of their own compositions.

Sloths Standards Band features Louis Sills-Clare on bass guitar, Lox on drums, Laurie Milton on piano/keys and Sonny Syd on guitar/vocals. Ben Glasser will also appear as a special guest on guitar.
