Cinderella Ballet

Cinderella is a ballet composed by Sergei Prokofiev between 1940 and 1944. It is one of his most popular and melodious compositions, and has inspired a great many choreographers since its inception. The premiere of the ballet took place in 1945, at the Bolshoi Theatre, with choreography by Rostislav Zakharov and Galina Ulanova in the title role. Cinderella is notable for its jubilant music, lush scenery, and for the comic double-roles of the step-sisters.

Cinderella will be performed as part of Russian Ballet's Historic Theater Tour, underwritten in part by United Arts of Central Florida. Additional events include VIP seating with a Meet & Greet at Mt. Dora Community Building on April 17th, 2021, 2:00 pm. Tickets range from $35 to $55.
