British National Ploughing Championships and Country Festival

This amazing event is held in a different part of the country each year. It’s not just ploughing though! It offers a rare glimpse of how farming has changed over the past 300 years – magnificent heavy horses and many styles of vintage tractors and equipment and giant steam ploughing engines through to the most up-to-date farm machinery.

Around 250 champion ploughmen and women will be showing off their skills in the competitions and with lots of trade stands, shopping and country crafts plus tractor and trailer rides, it’s a great day out for all the family!

There will be food outlets, car parking is free, admission on the day is £15 per adult or £2 per child. Discounts available for advanced tickets online.
