    Hi,
Me and my wife Isabel, have bought a property near Fuent Alamo and are looking forward to move there. Just a few more formalities to resolve / finalise and we should be there soon. Isabel is a retired nurse, and I am taking early retirement, I have been designing and building pharmaceutical and industrial assembly machines and has decided I had enough. I would like to continiou with my wood work hobby, and if a must, I will do consultation work for a company regarding the designing of any sort of machine.
We cannot wait to start enjoying a new life in SPAIN.
We both were born in South Africa, and has lived the past 18 years in the UK, but it is now time for a move.
Looking forward to meet any one.
    Kind Regards,
    Dave

    Hello All

My name is Scott Mitchell, I am 38, married with 2 children, 7 and 9.

I am currently working in India for a European Investment Bank managing a large transition of roles from London to Hyderabad, India. I have been in banking for nearly 20 years and am in need of a new lifestyle and career change.

I finish in India in Sept 2017 and would like to fulfil a lifelong ambition by living in Spain and running a business.

I have always wanted to own a bar / restaurant / coffee house on the Spanish coast and intend to do this hopefully this year or next. I am not coming into this unprepared, I have studied business, learning Spanish and have plenty of experience dealing with people on all levels of all nationalities. I am researching the market and am hoping to make valuable contacts also.

What I hope to achieve from this post: Can anyone please tell me, post global recession where the busiest tourist area with the longest season is. Also, if anyone on the forum is currently in the same business I would very much appreciate some realistic advice. Yes, it is my dream but I am also in it to succeed. If the market is so poor that it is a bad idea, even with the skills and resources I possess, please do not hesitate to let me know!

Hopefully at the very least I get some contacts and some realistic, constructive advice.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Many thanks

    Scott

Thank you for adding me. Me and my partner are living in France at the moment and are moving to Spain sometime in February . We have sold our French house and are in the process of buying our new Spanish home.We are moving to Beniganim in the Valencia region. We have an English camper van on French registered plates. We have been told on various forums that we won't be able to register it in Spain, was just wondering if anybody has any experience of doing this.
    Kind regards
    Nigel and Dee

    Hola a tod@s,
Red Social Inmobiliaria
