Approaching the month of May and the anniversary of Lawrence's accident on the 13th May, and his death on the 19th May, The Lawrence of Arabia Hotel is proud to be hosting a special weekend of T E Lawrence themed talks given by members of the TE Lawrence society Dorset Group.

T.E. Lawrence - also known as the enigmatic 'Lawrence of Arabia' - became famous for his contributions to the Arab Revolt, after which Lawrence came to live a quiet life in Dorset, where he lived until his death in 1935.

The talks will be held over both Saturday 18th May and Sunday 19th May, both starting at 1pm, and are open to members of the public who want to find out more about Lawrence, his connection to Dorset, and the extraordinary circle of friends and associates that reads like a list of who's who in British history.

The talks are free for anyone interested in attending, and includes refreshments of tea, coffee, and biscuits, however a donation would be greatly appreciated with money raised divided between the TE Lawrence Society Dorset Group and the RNLI Weymouth lifeboat.

Please note, there is no parking at the Hotel, the nearest car park is the Swannery Car Park, Radipole Park Dr, Weymouth DT4 7TY.
